Dan Platano
Owner of DPI Taxes
Dan is a lifelong athlete, educator, and football coach.
After retiring from public education as a math teacher and football coach, he decided to shift into tax prearation. In 2001 Dan began at a small firm in NE Ohio, and in 2003 transitioned to CBIZ (Century Business Services, Inc.) in the Tax and Accounting Division headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. While there, Dan gained valuable experience doing a variety of individual tax returns.
Since 2011 Dan has worked for ZFS Financial, a multi-site family owned wealth management firm in Lake County Ohio. In 2018 Dan moved to Columbus to be closer to family and now looks forward to serving the greater Columbus area with his tax experience and expertise.

DPI Taxes is the domain name for DPlatano, INC, which is registered as an 1120 S Corporation with the Internal Revenue Service. Dan Platano is a registered IRS Tax Preparer with an identification number (PTIN). We can prepare all tax returns: Personal, Trust or Estate, S and C Corporation, and Non-Profit.
We are affiliated with and serve as independent contractors for Zappitelli Financial Services located in Lake County, Ohio. They are a full-service wealth management firm with several CPA’s and Certified Financial Planners located at their 10 offices. ZFS is the ERO (Electronic Return Originator) for DPI Taxes.
